in one week, without any music creation expertise
readi was one of the only kids in my class without a game console, but we did have a computer. when i was 12, I got a coding book for christmas and started making my own games in C and opengl. though i never finished any of those early projects, i got hooked on programming.
after school, I started studying computer science and started working as a software developer. i really love the web because it's so accessible — anyone with a device and internet can access your work instantly. publishing and sharing your work is also pretty simple, whether as a website, a pwa, or a serverless function/api.
in my free time, i build lots of web-based projects. i really like the intersection of design and development. I love learning new things and am always looking for new cool projects. If you want to build something together or just want to connect, feel free to reach out.
i've worked on lots of little side projects over the years, here are some recent ones. many of them are open-source, so if you see something that piques your interest, check out the code.
one of the things i love most about programming is that there's always something new to learn. here's a selection of some of the things i've been learning lately:
been playing around with pixi.js for some game jams. awesome library for 2d games.
explored the internals of the physics engine rapier for a game engine i'm working on.
started using supabase for a few projects. still prefer mongodb as a database, but it has some cool features.
you have a project in mind? let's talk about it. drop me a line and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
